4-6 November 2011, Moscow

One of the main events of the Festival 2011 will be the opening animation expo "PRO-animation". Exhibition of achievements in the digital technology, where will be presented to the main creators of computer equipment, installations motion capture, 3D hardware devices to create computer graphics and sound recording equipment. The main studios and television networks will tell guests about their new animation projects. The exhibition has professional master classes and lectures by Russian and foreign directors, meetings with well-known artists and producers. Meetings, presentations and performances will be held in the main Pavilion "PRO-animation". Each day of the school, the exhibition will be devoted to one of the areas of animation game industry, animation, film.

AUDIENCE

Most of the visitors and participations of the exhibition are connected with the world of animation - it’s the producers main Russian and foreign animation studios, famous and young filmmakers, artists and animators. In the project will take a part software creators and professional equipment, management and staff of cinemas, studios, postproduction, and developers of computer games, advanced multimedia artists. The main feature of "PRO-animation" is the absence of the distance between the viewer and the professional community. At the same time at the Festival will take part "Factory of animation" - digging playground, a school for children and adults, and in Moscow cinemas festival programmes will be shown Technical and vocational side of animation art will exist with the holiday atmosphere of the festival.

IMPORTANCE

In Russia there are thousands of studios and companies, creating animated films dealing with multimedia design and animation for computer games. Animation technology market is expanding, is an increase in funding of animation projects within the Russian Government to support the development of Russian animation. Amid all the changes felt more acutely the need to enhance the skills of the animation community. Our cartoons, though valued for their high level of professionalism and artistry in an international community has become a byword, thanks to its technological backwardness. Our directors and animators don’t have enough experience in the field of new technologies and make all the "old-fashioned". Experiments in the field of computer animation rather archaic look at the international background, falling behind by 10-15 years, even from the Indian and Chinese works (not to mention the films made in the more developed countries). This situation can be changed only be involvement of foreign experts and narrowly directed educational programs, teaching master classes for working with software, presentations of new features. This kind of activities aimed at the assimilation of international experience take a place in the most developed countries, and are both an important educational step for professionals and students, and an opportunity for establish new contacts, allowing to run large international projects. With the help of animation school exhibition, we aim to create a platform for a meeting with the artist advanced technologies, the place of exchange of ideas, promote their development and partner search for a new projects.

"PRO-animation" will be held over three days - 4, 5, 6 November 2011. Opening hours from 12.00 to 20.00

TO PARTICIPANTS

Participations work in a separate pavilion in the corresponding block of the exhibition. All pavilions have private access to the electricity, supplied with rack-showcase, at the request of the company are equipped with computers and furniture. You have also a free internet zone Wi-Fi. Depending on the size of the stand, the exhibitor have a certain number of badges at the conference. On the construction of pavilions and open spaces of the exhibition-school "PRO-animation" and "Factory cartoon" is engaged in a group of Moscow architects and designers.
